Always taking the road less traveled, Barbara has lived a unique and extraordinary life with successful careers:

 

• Keeping the books for Rob Reiner’s production company Castle Rock Entertainment at the corporate level and on the accounting team for their films Misery (1990) and City Slickers (1991).

• Inspiring philanthropy for education including Cornell University, St. Albans School, Rutgers University, and more.

• And most recently in non-profit fundraising for The Planetary Society, founded by Carl Sagan and its CEO Bill Nye, the Science Guy, and The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures (yes, related to the Oscars!)

 

​Life has now come full circle, with a return to the Philly area (her childhood home); the welcoming of her first grandchild; and a re-focus on her creative roots.
